LOUIE

is my IV tree.
He stands about 6'3 and he is very skinny.
He has a big bag of white nutritional supplement hanging from his upper limb,
a heavy motor apparatus about halfway down,
and a tube that spirals from the bag, into the motor
and into a PICC (peripherally inserted central catheter) line in my arm.

Louie has a base with five wheels on him and
he falls over a lot when I try to pull him around on our carpet.

Louie's silly.

But he's going to make me well again.

That's why we hang out.

And look! My friend Karl drew a picture of me and Louie.
(Karl's silly too...)
